Thanks so much for visiting, Jaclyn! I know exactly what you mean–I kept thinking “oh, I’ve read that book!” or “I’ve worked with that person!”. I saw Hely give a reading of it recently and was very glad that I wasn’t sipping a drink at the time!

*Love* this book! One of my faves, it’s so hilarious! I think I especially appreciated it because my degree is in English. I had to read a lot of “literary fiction” and know a lot of writers as well, so a lot of the conventions Hely sends up in this book really struck a chord with me.
